I so love adult fairy tales and this one was so freaking steamy. I absolutely loved the play on Little Red Riding Hood with a bit of a cross over on The Three bears, not much mind you just a smidge. Meredith is feisty yet playful and I loved watching her react with her three bears whether as a child or an adult. But I guarantee it was a lot more fun seeing them as adults. The story begins with Meredith getting lost in the woods as a child and rescued by a family of bear shifters. Little does she know the impact agreeing to marry her three playmates will have on her future.Years later Meredith is visiting her aging grandmother in the woods of Oregon where she finds that her grandmother’s landlord has raised her rent astronomically. Just a tad affronted and pissed off she heads off to confront the bear in his cave err I mean home. Awakened from hibernation by the pounding on his door, Brandon has no clue what she’s talking about but he sees an opportunity he’s not willing to let pass by. Brandon tells her he’ll redo the lease agreement to a fixed contract at the old rate if she’ll keep house for him and his partners. At the urging of her grandmother she reluctantly agrees. Over the course of the next few weeks she meets Scott and Nathan. All three of them are scorching hot and appeal to her in their own way. Her nights are filled with hot erotic dreams and her days with keeping house for three sleeping bears. But even her dreams don’t hold a candle to what three sexy bears can dish out when they wake up. This was one seriously fun, quick and steamy read and I’d highly recommend it.

This book is based on the fairytale. Meredith (Red) went to visit her grandma and when she saw that the shifters who rented the house had raised the rent. Red went to their house and made a deal to be their maid and house cleaner in order to keep her grandmother’s rent low. Red has dreams of Brandon, Scott, and Nathan, but she can't decide which guy she likes better. Plus, they all have their mate marks leading them to her.
Sable you have become one of my ALL-TIME Favorite authors because you just know how to write about STEAMY menages that I devour in a few hours. I cannot wait to get all of your books. I absolutely fell in with this book from start to finish because of the undeniable love I could fell from the main characters. If you enjoy book about love at first sight, you will definitely want to buy this book today.
Another Port Jamieson Shifter Story. This time it is about Red, a girl who left town, because her 3 best friends told her independently at the end of high school that she was his fated mate. She returns to Port Jamieson, to find that the dynamics are still the same, until one of them suggests that they create a menage. This is a story of learning to share, learning to accept the unusual, and accept that fate sometimes has a strange way of bringing happiness.
A wonderful read for a holiday or the weekend.
Again this one, for me, feel flat. I found myself wishing that the author would just drop the stilted take off on the original fairytale which I thought should have been Goldilocks and Three Bears and not Little Red Ridinghood. Again with the mate marks that make no sense to anyone but the author. I know, I know she has red and hair therefore the Red thingy on the chests. Unoriginal and boring.
Confess I only made it about 2/3 of the way through this one and gave up. A good Idea executed badly, for my money. If you made it through one and bought two good luck with it. For me that's the end of the fairytales for me with this author. Sorry.
Got for an honest review.
I like shifter books so couldn’t wait to red this one. I loved the very beginning of the story, when she was little and the three bears gave her fake rings. Mates finding each other, is how I saw it. I thought the story was good. The characters were likable.
There was steamy hotness in dreams and fast moving feelings going on. The erotica is hot, and makes for a good read. Three hot bears and Meredith make their menage a very interesting read.
Some things were hard to believe, because the pace seemed way to fast in spots. Little red riding, makes me think of wolves. There are spots that need editing but they are not walls to stop me from reading the story. The story was still good and find my self still looking on the author shelves for books to read.

On July 4th, 20 years ago, Meredith Baxter got lost in the woods. She was found by a bear shifter couple and returned safely to the celebration. That night she met 3 young shifter boys and they all asked her to marry them. Time goes by and and that night is forgotten.
Meredith goes to visit her Grandmother in Port Jameson, OR. She becomes very angry when she is told that her grandmother's rent/lease is being raised, to almost twice the amount. How is her grandmother suppose to pay that? So, Meredith goes to have a talk with the landlord. Brandon Joyce is a bit more then she expected. Upon finding out that he didn't change the lease, but they have a new in their posession, he strikes a deal. Meredith is to be the housekeeper for the next few weeks, for him and his 2 friends. When spring arrives and their hibernation is over, then the lease will go back to the original amount and never be changed.
Brandon has alterior motives when making the deal with Meredith, he does want the house cleaned, but more then that.....he wants Meredith in their home. Hopefully for good.
Over the next few weeks Meredith, now called "Red", meets the other two men/bear shifters. Each is so different , but she is attracted to all of them. All them also have the same mate mark, which is strange. After one night spent with all three it is discovered that Red could be the fated mate to each of them. How can she choose just one? She has fallen for each one of them and she can't choose one and leave the others behind or hurt them. So,she leaves. It is all she can do.
